“Jesus says ‘The greatest among you
should be like the youngest, and the one who
rules like the one who serves… But I am
among you as one who serves?'”
Luke 22:26,27
At Crossroads, we believe that serving our community – neighbors both near and far – is a natural way of following our Savior and reflecting his love. Crossroads volunteers regularly through quarterly Service Events, and participates in international service events.
Service Events
Courtenay Fest
Help the school children, parents and staff of Courtenay School celebrate the end of the school year. This is a fun event with games, meals and music, and it is also a great outreach event for Crossroads. Be sure to wear your Crossroads T-shirt. The volunteer duties could include setup, food prep, distribution of food and soda, ticket collecting, signing in children, or running the games at various locations. We would love to get a group of 10 or more from Crossroads to help with this event! More information will follow.
Date: Saturday, June 10th
Location: Courtenay School
Time: TBD
Sign up by emailing service@crossroadschicago.org

It may have been a little rainy on this Saturday morning, but members of Crossroads and other volunteer groups spent time moving the Peterson Garden. We stopped for a picture – and used some props that were handy!
